Patrick Soluri, composer & musical director. Mr. Soluri, whose compositions for orchestra, ballet, opera, film and television have merited recognition, is a resident of NYC and a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music. Most recently his one-act opera Embedded, won the 2013 Frontiers Competition at Fort Worth Opera, premiered in a fully staged production at Fargo-Moorhead Opera in 2014 and will be performed with the Fort Worth Opera in the spring of 2016. Mr. Soluri' s works for ballet include "To Be Continued," choreographed by Xenia Wiest, commissioned by Staatsballett Berlin for "Shut Up & Dance: Reloaded!" and "Murder at the Masque: Casebook of Edgar Allan Poe" commissioned and performed by Dances Patrelle in celebration of their 20th Anniversary Season and the Poe Bicentennial.
In addition to his works for opera and ballet Mr. Soluri has composed several film scores, and hundreds of tracks of music for film & TV including the Emmy winning WONDERPETS, with Sean Lennon on the film score for ALTER EGOS. His music has been featured on TLC, LOGO and DISCOVERY in the US and Europe, including SING IT LAURIE and AMERICA'S GOT TALENT.
Michael Fennelly, pianist. Michael Fennelly has performed in many of the world's great concert halls. Michael Fennelly's recitals have been broadcast on WQXR (New York City) and NDR Radio (Germany). His recordings include The Legend of Faust: Part One and Debut; currently he is recording Grand Tour in New York City. A versatile and remarkable musician he has recently played the Beethoven Choral Fantasy and Mozart's two piano concerto K.365 with the Saddleback Master Chorale, performed with the Talich Quartet in the Shostakovich Piano Quintet, Op.57, and conducted Lucia di Lammermoor in concert at Carnegie Hall
Ian McUen, tenor. Ian McUen sang the role of Goro in Madadame Butterfly as a Young Artist at the Glimmerglass Festival. In the 2014/15 season, Ian joined the roster of the Metropolitan Opera, covering St. Brioche in a new production of The Merry Widow directed by Susan Stroman. This April, Ian made his Carnegie Hall debut as the Tenor Soloist in Mozart's Solemn Vespers with Manhattan Concert Productions.
Megan Weston, soprano
Soprano Megan Weston is an artist of "remarkable virtuosity and charm," according to the Financial Times. She excels in the standard repertoire of Mozart, Donizetti and Bach, and is equally successful in more modern works. Megan first gained international attention as Lisa in LA SONNAMBULA at the Caramoor International Music Festival. She has performed for the Metropolitan Opera Guild at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and Symphony Space,. Megan began her professional career in the television and film industry - her songs and voice have been featured prominently in feature films, national commercials, and network television shows. www.meganweston.com
Steven Eddy, baritone. Praised for his “polished baritone and acting skills” and “sterling musical and physical work," baritone Steven Eddy is a versatile young performer with a broad repertoire spanning opera, oratorio, and art song. A former member of the Fort Worth Opera Studio, he recently returned to the 2014 Fort Worth Opera Festival in critically acclaimed performances as Ponchel in Silent Night one year after his debut with the company as Harlekin in Ariadne auf Naxos. Other operatic credits include Sid (Albert Herring), Dancaïre (Carmen), Figaro (The Barber of Seville), Aeneas (Dido & Aeneas) Schaunard (La bohème), Nick Shadow (The Rake’s Progress), Ford (Falstaff), John Brooke (Little Women), Belcore (L’elisir d’amore), Guglielmo (Così fan tutte) and Dr. Pangloss/Voltaire (Candide). He has had the pleasure of performing with such companies and festivals as Fort Worth Opera, Aspen Opera Theater Center, Tanglewood Music Center, Center for Contemporary Opera, Arbor Opera Theater, and the Seagle Music Colony.
Thomas Bradshaw, baritone, (SAG-AFTRA, AGMA.) Thomas enjoyed a career as an operatic tenor and baritone and has performed internationally. Now concentrating on acting Thomas’s credits include Theatre: Awake and Sing!, A Christmas Carol, Our Town, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, Edwin Booth Project, Standing in Line, Patient HM, Rosaries and Vodka, Jubilee, Little Stories in Tomorrow’s Paper, Pro: Prince Williamsburg, The Union Forever, Return of the Native, and Tiny Tim and the Size Queen. Film: Jeffrey, Bottled, Aguaviva, American Sisyphus, Like Chalk and Cheese, and How Barbara Walters Ruined Christmas. Television: 30 Rock and Law & Order-SVU.
